Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 – Essentials – This assessment measures the candidate’s basic and intermediate knowledge and skill in creating and modifying presentations, formatting slides and slide text, adding graphics and special effects, and delivering presentations. It evaluates the candidate’s experience in creating and managing presentations, inserting and modifying charts, animation, audio files, and hyperlinks. All questions are written at an 8th grade reading level.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 – Essentials – Essentials assessment evaluates the candidate’s experience in creating and saving presentations, adding and modifying illustrative graphics, applying effects and animations, formatting slides and presentation content, and reviewing and delivering presentations. The Essentials test utilizes a simulation format and consists of the 20 most important, most frequently performed tasks. It evaluates the candidate’s experience in creating and saving presentations, adding and modifying illustrative graphics, applying effects and animations, formatting slides and presentation content, and reviewing and delivering presentations. The Essentials test consists of the 20 most important, most frequently performed tasks. All questions are written at an 8th grade reading level.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (adaptive) – This adaptive assessment evaluates the candidate’s experience in creating and managing presentations, inserting and modifying charts, animation, audio files, and hyperlinks. There are two versions of this test available: a full-length test and an Essentials test. This test is designed for experienced MS PowerPoint 2007 users.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 – Essentials – (See the PowerPoint 365 Essentials) This simulation contains only basic and intermediate questions covering the most important and frequently used PowerPoint tasks. The Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 simulation evaluates the candidate’s experience in creating and saving presentations, adding and arranging multimedia elements, applying animations, formatting slides and presentation content, modifying the presentation layout, and reviewing and delivering presentations. Designed for experienced users, this test includes the following topics: Animation and Slideshows, Content, Interface, Objects, Presentation Management and Delivery, Presentations and Files, Proof and Review, and Slide Setup and Preparation. Designed for experienced users.
Microsoft Office 2007 Fundamentals (adaptive) – A multi-section test that measures knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook. Test topics in MS Word include Open Documents, Page and Paragraph Formats, Move and Edit Text, and other Standard Functions. Test topics in MS Excel include Data Input, Formulas, Functions and Charts, and Navigation. Test topics in MS PowerPoint include Presentation Views and Exports, Cut, Copy, and Paste, Slide Design, Slide Shows, and Text and Font Features. Test topics in MS Outlook include Compose and Send Messages, Appointments and Events, Contacts, and other Basic Functions.
