Identify individuals who can argue cases successfully and who fit in to the culture of the rest of your team.

Purpose: The online Pre-Employment Attorney Test identifies individuals who are easy to get along with, not particularly self-centered or demanding, yet who have the aggressive personality with which to argue cases successfully.

It will also help determine which candidates are mindful of rules and policies that must be followed, are detail-minded, capable of handling their responsibilities in a level-headed manner, and maintain a cheerful optimistic approach to their work. Top candidates can also network in the community to try to bring in new business, and are prepared to work hard to make their practice profitable.

This Attorney Test also provides insights about the candidate’s mental abilities. Those who have a law degree from an accredited university are generally thought to be very intelligent because it is assumed that the course work was demanding.  However, there is evidence of grade  inflation problems at many of the institutions of learning, so testing candidates on mental ability can be very revealing.

The third part of the test requires answers to open-ended questions.  This information provides insights into a candidate’s attitudes and values, plus it gives you more opportunity to evaluate their verbal fluency, grammar, sentence structure, and persuasiveness.

About the Test: This untimed test takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete. The test battery has three parts:

  • 133 question untimed personality inventory and
  • 44 item test of mental ability, and
  • A set of open-ended questions to which the candidate must type in a short answer.

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of scores of areas covered (see chart), explanation of aptitude results, list of strengths and developmental concerns, display of both the open-ended sentence stems and their actual typed responses, and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process: Online personality testing provides immediate reporting. Proctoring is desirable but not required.
