The Colour Blindness Test is exactly what it sounds like, a test of an individual’s ability to correctly see and identify colours, or lack thereof.  It comes with a book of colour plates and instructions for administration and scoring.

What It’s Best Used For

This test is best used during the pre-employment hiring phase, internal promotions, or educational intakes for any position where matching, identifying, or reacting to specific colours is critical to safety and quality control.

The testing materials are provided in English and the assessment is fully legal for use in Canada.

The Hardy, Rand, and Ritter (HRR) Pseudoisochromatic Subset Book for Red/Green test contains two demonstration plates, four screener plates, and 10 diagnostic series for a total of 16 plates. Each of these plates has its own tab for easy and clean page selection. The test also includes a set of instructions in English and a score sheet. The score sheet can then be copied directly onto the patient’s record or copies can be made locally. A pad of score sheets is available separately.
