The Leadership/Impact ® is a computer-generated report designed to provide executives and managers with information about their impact on others:
- the way people around them approach their work and connect with others
- The strategies and leadership techniques that account for this impact
- The implications for the leader’s personal and organizational effectiveness
Based on reports by at least 5 others, L/I measures the effectiveness of the leader along multiple criteria:
Impact on others – the feedback inventories assess the impact that the leader has on the follower’s Lifestyle Inventory assessment (sold separately). Impact can be constructive or defensive. To compliment this data, the inventory measures the impact the leader ideally would like to have on others. Ideal and actual impact are then compared.
Leadership Strategies – The Leadership/Impact measures and provides feedback on the strategies that the leader uses. Prescriptive and Restrictive strategies are measured in terms of ten leadership domains or areas of responsibility:
