Child Care Worker / Youth Group Leader

Formerly the Child Care Worker I, the new Child Care Worker / Youth Group Leader tests will help you identify effective candidates who enjoy working with children while keeping them safe and helping them grow. A targeted personality trait profile evaluates whether the candidate is likely to be patient, kind, trustworthy and vigilant.  The addition of an aptitude test component will assess an individual’s ability to learn quickly, solve problems and handle multiple tasks.

There are three different versions of this assessment, and all offer an optional
Career Development Report Add-On.

Versions

1. Child Care Worker / Youth Group Leader – Personality Only (20 Min.) – A job-specific behavioral screener created for workers in education and daycare settings consisting of an untimed personality assessment targeting behaviors specific to this type of job.
2. Child Care Worker / Youth Group Leader – Core (35-40 Min.) – A personality + aptitude pre-hire screener created for childcare employees consisting of  an untimed personality assessment targeting behaviors specific to this type of job and a timed General Reasoning test.
3. Child Care Worker / Youth Group Leader – Core+ (60 Min. or less) – A comprehensive, in-depth screener created for candidates tasked with childcare in a variety of environments, consisting of a  untimed personality assessment targeting behaviors specific to this role, a timed General Reasoning test, and an untimed, unscored set of open-ended statements to which the candidate must type short answers (evaluates work values and attitudes as well as grammar and spelling skills).

This modular suite is best utilized by daycares, preschools, summer camps, community centers, and youth sports organizations to look past polished resumes and verify an applicant’s natural behavioral fitness around children before hiring. It is highly recommended for vetting early childhood educators, daycare aides, assistant teachers, nannies, and scout leaders.

• Flexible 3-Tier Configurations: Allows hiring teams to deploy a Personality Only behavioral screener (20 minutes), a Core battery adding timed general reasoning (35–40 minutes), or a comprehensive Core+ track featuring open-ended written prompts to gauge values and grammar (under 60 minutes).

Testing Process

Immediate score report upon completion.  Proctoring desirable but not required.  The use of mobile phones is discouraged.

Options
