The Sales Attitude Check List Test will provide you with a quick measure of sales habits. Designed to reflect attitudes and behaviours, this test helps give you a clear picture of your sales applicants and/or current staff. Percentile Norms for the test have been generated from the following jobs:

• Applicants for sales managerial positions
• Automobile salespersons
• Freight traffic salespersons
• Office equipment salespersons
• General sales applicants

Validation studies have been conducted for the following jobs and the scores were found to be related to job performance: i.e. automobile salespeople and jewelry salespeople. People who obtain high scores on the SACL, generally have the following characteristics:

• High job motivation
• Strong sales skills
• Satisfied customers
• Higher supervisory ratings
• Achievement oriented

This test provides quick references of desirable skills that should be present in applicants for Sales positions and is self scoring.
