What does the Perceptual Speed & Accuracy Assessment do and what problem does it solve? – This assessment is a ‘clerical’ tool designed to decision making, reading speed and the ability to accurately compare data lists.  Use it to assess applicants’ suitability for clerical, warehousing, financial and inventory control positions.  Use the Search function (upper right) to find similar tests including the, Clerical Speed & Accuracy Test, General Clerical Test and Basic Skills Tests.

Purpose: This test uses a classic approach to measuring a person’s ability to read quickly, compare sets of information, and make a simple decisions.

When To Use It: The Perceptual Speed & Accuracy Test can be used with good results where the position requires a lot of paperwork, and where both processing speed and minimizing errors are important.

Target Group: We recommend using this test for positions such as secretary, administrative assistant, inventory control personnel, shipping & receiving clerk, accounting personnel, finance clerk.

High Scorers: People scoring high on the Perceptual Speed & Accuracy Test are quick and they do not make many errors.

Low Scorers: People scoring low on the Perceptual Speed & Accuracy Test are somewhat slow in completing their work and they tend to make more errors than you probably expect.
