The Audio Transcription test is designed to measure transcription speed and accuracy. The test is a five minute ‘speeded’ assessment that instructs candidates to listen to a recording played over a computer audio system and to type the exact words and phrases used by the speaker into a word processing interface using a keyboard. This test has a simulated audio player that allows candidates to rewind, stop, pause, play, and fast-forward the recording during the test.
Reading Level: 8th grade

Speeded and Timed: 5 minute time limit. Candidate not expected to complete all questions.
