Systems Analyst/Network Administrator Test
Your network administrator or system analyst needs to be a smooth operator. And by that, we mean someone who is a wiz at using their computer skills to build and maintain systems in concert with your organization's and customers' needs. A Systems Analyst may interact with their customers to identify needs and solve IT problems, so in many cases a significant part of their job is social in nature. A Network Administrator often works on their own, and must be comfortable with that level of independence.
This test helps select candidates with the necessary personality traits for success including evaluating the degree to which Systems Analysts will try to get along with their constituents, see them as customers, and whether they will have the fortitude to speak up about issues where they have some expertise. In the case of Network Administrators, the test will show their level of independence and good judgment. The test also measures basic intelligence, evaluating the ability to handle complex information, make good judgments based on abstract concepts, and relate information to other highly intelligent professionals and managers.
About the Test:
This test consists of two parts (1) a 124 question personality inventory, (2) a 44 item test of general cognitive aptitude with about equal number questions for verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and abstract reasoning. It probably takes about 90 minutes to complete it although this will vary from person to person because it is untimed.
What the Report Gives You:
Graphical display of scores, a narrative interpretation of scores, list of strengths and developmental concerns, and suggested interview questions.
Online testing provides immediate reporting. Proctoring is desirable but not required.
